Dreamgals was a hit! strongly encourage u peeps to go watch! esp if u like lotsa lotsa singing! it's an adaptation of a musical, so yeah. lotsa songs. haha no one recognised beyonce and eddie murphy in the show until the credits rolled!

anyways, my fav song's "And i'm telling you i'm not going" by jennifer hudson! never knew who she was until i wiki-ed her later, but she's real good! i tot i was real emotional the way she sang in the show. and i had a deeper impression of it as this song appeared in CAMP (the film)

It's chu er!

all the visitings are over, and all have been fun! reunion dinner started, and we were just eating and watching tv, with some small talk. nothing much then.

chuyi was spent with the paternal side. ooh lotsa goodies! 2 of my cousins just came back from london and rome, and brought back krispy kreme doughnuts! so ex and so nice! haha there were like 12 diff flavours! then godiva chocs came up!! haha it was fun joining the cousins' conversation, esp when i only get to see them once or twice a yr!

then came today. something bad happened but shan't talk abt it. then went to jiuma's house to eat 擂茶. sheesh homemade stuff taste the best! the one at vivo was crap. haha. then continue the talking sessions..

b4 long had to go to maternal side. haha fun was doubled with the babies ard! then my cousins were telling me interesting stuff abt their europe trip once they heard i'm going! haha got me all hyped up!

then went to aunties house in the evening, where we had our annual cny games night! this year's game was thought up by my mum, and it was a load of fun!! haha also had 鸡蛋米酒, another traditional dish in my family. looks like only a few on just know how to enjoy it tho! no mahjong this year tho. haha no time to do it anyways, the babies took most of our time!

was talking to someone just now and the topic on friends came up again as usual. haha seems like i like to hang out with my class ppl more cause there's no pretence. or at least not that i can detect it. and i suppose it's thanks to the ppl in 78 who aren't afraid to make a fool of themselves and have have fun! and (very out-of-pointly) david i want the toys r us photo!!! hahahahaha!!!

or maybe everyone is just pretending everything's fine, and this fine balance might just tip over one day, with 1 stupid, unintentional move by someone. and everything will be gone. disintegrate. zero. nada.

just like what a recent event forced me to think.

oh so daren won. i'm not particularly upset or anything, but the thing i couldn't stand about superstar. are the non-finalists (aka the 22 guys and gals that didn't make it) that bad? so bad that they had to sing with the recording. i mean who wants to see them dance on stage if they aren't really singing? or is it just the old paranoid me who got it wrong???

well. i really liked diya's 纸飞机. and that's abt it.

oh and i finally got my tuition kid back! it's not much, but at least it's something. =>
