New year doesn't seem like a new year when u're still stuck in the same school year. it doesn't even feel like 2007. but that's not the main pt of this entry.
NS is the time when boys supposedly become men. well i of cos disagree, but i must say that this year has been a 'growing' year for me. not in terms of maturity or physically, since someone said i had the mentality of a 5 year old (but there's always a 3-year old i can mock!); and height, 'nuff said. But in terms of independence. it's the period where u realise (or imagine) that u can start doing things on your own, and stop relying on friends and family. well it worked out fine. but started to go wrong when u finally realise that u still crave for some attention, which by now people might have become accustomed to your independence, and thus show less concern that you hope they will.
oh btw, if you think this is about you, it's probably not. so dun worry.
er. that's about all for my rants. oh and i'm not really unhappy or anything. just ranting with the spare time i got since simpsons and friends is taken up by the 2 hr special of american idol. which is so boring.

finally.
this past month has been a rather depressing one somehow. it started out fine, with the elation of end of sch and the bangkok trip (which i never got to visit chatuchaet, or wadeva it's spelt as,which meant i never really saw bangkok), climaxed during sebastian's christmas eve stayover, and countdown (sorta) with jinquan and yiwang, and finally junny's stayover. and of course meeting up with the xc and goldilocks ppl.
eventful as it might sound, it left me really empty. and lonely. or i could just be overly melodramatic. it could have been the overrated christmas season, or the recent clubbing experience. Or just the result of rotting at home for too long.
but now that school has (dreadfully) started, there'll be more stuff on my mind besides these unproductive thots. and not to mention simpsons at 6, friends at 6.30, chn 8 serial at 7 and random channel surfing thereafter!
as mentioned, friends is actually showing again on star world. while i am not as fanatic over them a friend who owns all the seasons of friends on dvd, or another who owns all the burnt episodes, i must say it is the only show that left me laughing and feeling all (to quote pooh) fuzzy at the same time. truly a classic.
